USC 1994 Football Season Ticket Strip

Every year USC has Season Tickets printed for the upcoming football season. In 1994 it was no different. The tickets were commisioned with portraits of famous figures in USC football history including O.J. Simpson. The ticket strips were printed and delivered to USC the week of June 12, 1994. When it became obvious that O.J. Simpson was implicated in the brutal murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, the president of USC ordered all of the tickets to be destroyed and reprinted with other portraits of famous athletes from other sports. Only a handful of the original strip tickets were saved, and ads soon appeared in the Los Angeles Times classified offering thousands of dollars for one of the strips.

In my almost 15 years as manager of Grateful Dead Ticket Sales I got to know many people in the ticketing industry and was able to obtain two strips, neither of which have seat locations printed on them. One of them(#04523) is shown above and is in mint condition. The other one(#12823) does not have the printer guides on either side and was folded at the center perforation. I have decided to sell these along with some other unused tickets from various sporting events. I am selling off these tickets for the following bids:

Strip #04523 (shown above); $500.00 or best offer.
Strip #12823(not shown): $300.00 or best offer.
